I saw a video of that somewhere. Comical stuff.

That was in the days when the away lot were in The Holmesdale.
One of our number had moved to Hurstpier Point when he was a kid (imagine the abuse he took when he went to school round there!) and we got chatting to one of his mates through the wire mesh at half time. Henry was his name. Proper posh boy and total eccentric. Good lad though despite his club.

Looking back via youtube at that game, I'd have to say that Morton got all those penalty calls right.

A similar thing happened the last time we played them at selhurst. A few of their youts were walking towards the corner junction where the holmesdale meets the new stand and were giving it large . They suddenly scattered and one was left on his own next to me , so I whispered in his ear are you on your own ? he nodded youd better **** off then and off he shot

The Whitgift Centre was another time. '79 or '80?
Long time ago now.

I don't remember Trusson but I do remember you had Curbishley play for you that day. I think.

That's why I never wanted him as our manager.
Mullery was quite enough!

Song for Palace?

As a variation on "You burnt your own town..."

He's one of your own,
He's one of your own,
Henry Vincent, he's one of your own.

Let's face it, he was a pikey living in a caravan, and it can't be a coincidence that all the flowers his family are leaving are wrapped in red and blue plastic.

Only been to three Brighton matches. 0-0 Home playoff leg. 3-0 away earlier that season and the 2-1 in the cup this season.

Really hope my luck improves tomorrow.

Here's what Rosenior has to say about tomorrow:

To view the link you have to Register or Login

I'm confused by the final line though:

Quote:
One thing is for sure, however, and it’s the reason we all love this game: there will be fireworks.
If that truly is the case, then why did you Tarquins go full on menstrual at our last league visit down there?

"They're trying to get the game called off!"

Stop with the hardman routine. Played you twice already at your place and you were nowhere to be seen so why would you turn up tomorrow?
