Schlupp or PVA
After a discussion with my old man who is better left back?
I think schlupp edges it for me.

PVA for me, but it's so nice to have the choice.

Happy with both.

Amazing to have two great options. Too early to take a view as to who's better, but I think both have been impressive. Not sure how great they are defensively yet but going forward they are both very good. They give us a different dimension.

Not much in it between either of them, happy with both so far. We look a much more balanced side now we have proper left-backs.

Not much between them but I maybe prefer Schlupp as he is a bit more physical although PVA brings the odd goal

Was thinking about this today - i prefer schlupp so far as he looks more solid defensively but i could understand in games against defensive opposition pva might be better as part of a back 5

PVA as left back for sure. Schlupp however can play as a winger.
As a winger he is strong and quick but am yet to be convinced by his final ball or touch or decision making. As a reserve left back what a great option to have

I really like schlupp. Pva is the fancier option but schlupp is solid as fuqk.
Great problem to have.... |

PVA is a much better left back. Schlupp has raw pace and slightly less frills but his dribbling was poor yesterday. Good engines on both

PVA for me, just seems slightly more assured going forward. If (a big if) Soure comes back through his horrible injury, he'd make a great option as a back up left winger.

I'll be honest I didn't really know a lot about schlupp before he arrived, but I'm impressed. Doesn't mind bombing up and down but very good getting in position (which I suspect is why sam brought him).
Nice to have two solid left back options over the hideously overrated papa Fred |

PVA offers goals, which makes a difference and I suspect he is Sam's first choice.
Thought Schlupp was solid yesterday though considering how little football he has had recently. |
