The players should be made to donate this week's wages to charity. I understand the fan's feelings and players at Palace are luckier than at most other clubs always having their backing. But their lack of effort is disheartening

They shouldn't 'be made'; they should do it off their own backs. And I would suggest donating it to grassroots football, where people play for the love of the game.
