They seem like rabbits in headlights. I'm not in favour of a second referendum right now but am open to persuasion. The best argument is that things have actually changed since June 2016. The EU and Eurozone economic areas are showing strong signs of growth now that the ECB actually has a growth policy, the oil price is no longer at 100$ and China, America and even Japan are generating demand. Free movement is far easier to concede right now. Whether EU membership would enable us to tackle our housing crisis, regional and social economic imbalances, youth unemployment among some minority groups and to boost manufacturing would be for discussion.

Yes, this and the fact that positive new that we have had about manufacturing is because we are in the single market and not because we are out of it (which we are not).

Also need more openness and honesty from business leaders about the risk of leaving the single market. There has been far too much stiff upper lip stuff going on for my liking.

The ballot paper should be a flow chart to help voters make their decision.

e.g.

Section 1

Do you feel uncomfortable surrounded by foreigners?

Yes? Go to Section 4
No? Continue

Section 2

Do you know of any EU rule that has adversely affected your life?

Yes? Go to Section 5
No? Continue

Section 3

Do you want unhindered access to European countries through passport control?

Yes? Continue
No? Go to Section 5

Do you blame the EU for all the bad things happening in the UK?

Yes? Go to section 5
No? Continue

Section 4

Do you think you know what a foreigner looks like?

Yes? Go to Section 5
No? Go to section 6

Section 5

Put your cross in the vote Leave box

Section 6

Put your cross in the vote Remain box.

Anyway, something along those lines.

The 10 points behind figure he (john) talks about was from that dodgy poll and can be ignored.

PS NO chance of a 2nd referendum. He is just stoking the remoan fire, good fun.

I think the genie is out of the bottle and the calls for a referendum will gain momentum from here. Nb i would prefer not to have one as they are too divisive and bring out the worst in people but i think remain will win this time which will re-invigorate UKIP (again something I don't want to happen)

Wheras you only love referendums so long as they're useful, and seem to hate poles.

The majority of people weren't asking for the last referendum either. EU wasn't even high up voters list of priorities.

It is now.
