Twatter.

Remain campaign was a pack of lies, no EU army, no federal EU, a vote to stay is a vote for the status quo, as many as 820,000 jobs could be lost. Junckers SOTU speech 2017 Schengen extended, compulsory Euro EU army, end of vetoes, single European president. Remain lies exposed

The Trade bloc is a red herring , the real question is do we want to be a self governing nation or not .
Which nationalism do you refer too? Cornish nationalism, Welsh nationalism, Scottish nationalism, English nationalism, or northern Irish nationalism. Which of those nationalisms has the self determination you speak of and why do one of those nationalisms get to define the self determination of all the other nationalisms?

How are northern Irish nationalism and Scottish nationalism allowed to govern themselves? How are the representatives of English nationalism accountable to Irish or Scottish nationalism?

You said yesterday the Eu was crumbling yet you claim today they are integrating further. Which is it?

They want the latter as you know, they will get the former.

All is not lost NKE, you’ve still got time to fill your boots.

You could pop down your local and tell everyone their conversation is shit and you’re going home to play on the Internet.

So if they will get the former why would we worry about the latter.

Also how was a campaign that said the latter was unlikely a “pack of lies” if as you say they will get the former? Surely the remain campaign claiming these things were unlikely would have therefore been pretty accurate?

Yes but if the later evolves into the former it could lead to a concerted effort to glue together the later and so potentially overcome the former which leads to an almost dictatorial situation which as we all know simply ends with the former but a lot of people get hurt along the way.

Yes but it is unlikely the latter could evolve at all due to the many vetoes. Of course the latter could evolve so far that the vetoes become null and void forcing many latterly to wish for the former and cause more votes like we had where people argued that the latter was ruining everything and was inevitable where as we would do so much better with the former. As formerly it was better.

Then a main protagonist of the former could say countries that voted for the former should argue for another vote on the former despite winning his vote to avoid the latter on the grounds that some wanted the latter while pretending to want the former. The likely destination as a result of his wish for a re-vote for the former is the latter.

Precisely which is why the majority of the population at the time, before they died, voted for Brexit.

So this poll stands at 66-31 in favour of Remain at the moment.

Was there a similar poll back in June '16? What was the result then, anybody?

That government document link actually has been totally accurate in everything it stated before the vote. It is quite amazing that all the passion to stay in for the reasons given by our government, have been swept aside so casually for a tiny majority to leave in a non binding advisory only referendum result. There can be only one reason for this, there are powerful anti EU forces behind the scenes pulling May's strings.

I remember a poll but can't find it. Nevertheless there are some names in the remain option and one in the moo option that I wouldn't have expected.

The vote was 49% remain, 43% leave with 7% undecided.

Another poll on the day of the referendum had 58% remain, 42% leave.
