It's such BS isn't it.

The MP on the Marr show said there'd be no rethink, even though Marr specifically brought up the cap with him (the 2015 commission proposal).

I don't know if I trust them on this matter....they could just as easily 'consult' and then reject it again this summer. Worthless gesture now.

It was so obvious that they would. It seems to me that the Tories didn't pre-test this manifesto policy with potential voters, because it was clearly a back track on their 2015 manifesto.

Some of us have been predicting this u-turn, the only surprise was that they didn't do it before the Sunday media coverage.
