Which Paper do you think is best for transfer news

I find I am buying three newspapers a day trying to find out who we are after, O.K. it costs me a quid each day, no real problem there!
Which papers do you buy? Which ones are most accurate, I could do with some tips.

The only one that is 100% reliable is the Croydon Advertiser.

But you'll hear about any transfers (or rumours) on the BBS long before you read about them anywhere else.

Mike,

I do the same as you.......and always go for the trashy tabloids (far better sporting goss and semi naked women is a bonus). Sun, Mirror and Star - I get at least 2 of them each day.

The problem with transfer “news” and tabloids is the tabloids seem just to make things up. Then when one of their wild predictions happen they claim it was a scoop. However if you don’t want the transfer news to be accurate the tabloids have the volume.

They are all as bad as each other.

Having said that I would always look at the Sun (please note I would not dream of paying money for it) and if there was nothing there about Palace catch up on all the other gossip/cr@p that is in the paper!!!

Err.. why do you bother? Just read the BBS or get the CP-FRIS. The papers are all about regurgitating old news and rumours and are always behind the real news.
You're wasting your time mate.

Maybe it's because he wants to get a wider spectrum of what certain areas of the media say? Newspapers aren't JUST about sport. I read the Guardian for political content aswell as sport. (The sport section, is, by the way, very accurate).

Poll results

You do suprise me, no votes or the Daily Star and 10 for the current bun!
I find the Stars soccer shots informative and not just restricted to the Premiership big boys and as for the Sun I've not read anything in there I have not read elsewhere before, keep your comments coming, thanks for your replys Mike

PJ is playing for a contract
... not on your list but The Observer prints all of the transfer rumours from the day's tabloids as well as few of their own. Costs £1:10 but it saves you the embarassment of being spotted buying The News of the World.
