Is there anyone who supports Palace who thinks Andrews is any good??.
Today, Did he touch the Ball? and since we got him has he ever given any idea he will be any good at all?. Why does Dowie even put him on the Bench, is he his GodFather or something.

No idea really. With AJ playing as our sole striker for most of last season all the others have been bit part players. It is bloody worrying though.

I think Wayne Andrews is given way too much criticism. Watching him kick about at half time it looks like he has a bit of skill, can pass accurately and despite what people say his first touch isn't all that bad, plus we all know he's quick as hell. Give him a chance and stop basing your opinions of him on a 10 minute display, especially one where the whole team is playing shit.

I dont think the kick about at half time counts for much!!! Didnt really have much of a chance to get into things today and he wont in the future either...

Makes loads of sense to point the finger at the guy who played 6 minutes. Especially considering we were getting beat by a team we shouldn't have been when he came on.

Same story last year. He got 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there and 90% of the time he came on the pitch whilst we were already getting hammered yet he bore the brunt of the blame. Makes no sense to me...

Someone who knows what they are talking about.

I have no idea who started this campaign against Andrews but one thing's for sure they have never seen him play 90 minutes in the first team or in his favoured position come to that.

Today he did more in 10 minutes than Jon Macken (Are you Lee Bradbury in disguise?) had achieved in 84. But no-one is on Mackens back - yet. Most reasonable people will give him a few games before entering into judgement.

I'll make a judgement on Wayne Andrews when I've seen him play, in his best position, for 6 consecutive whole games. That'll tell you if the lad is any good or not.

Andrews is poor but gets too much stick, he doesnt play long enough to deserve it.

Made me laugh though at half time on palace radio when they were chatting and all of a sudden one of them starting laughing and just said he was watching Andrews warm up on the pitch and he just had the worst touch of a football that your ever likely too see, that about sums the player up.

We have too many athletic pub players in our squad

We have a lack of 'special' players, those who can really make something happen and that stand out in this league and are capable of creating match winning moments. There are too many player who are solid, work hard but have nowhere near enough ability required to gain promotion.
