How could Darren Ambrose play for u-21's?
Does anyone know how he could play for the under 21's having been sent off at the weekend?
I thought any player serving a ban could'nt represent his country, or are there different rules impliemented for u-21 games and or friendlies??

I thought domestic bans and international bans were kept separate?

It certainly used to be that any player serving a domestic ban was automatically not considered for an international game.

I always thought that it was a self imposed rule by the FA rather than anything from FIFA. Perhaps they've abandoned the ruling, after realising its self punishing nature.
I've always considered it to be a stupid rule anyway.
