I gather there's an underground canal. It's one of the reasons why we haven't got undersoil heating at Selhurst, as it would be too expensive to instal.

I get my information from the BBS, so don't bother asking for a source...

the cellar at my mum's often fills a couple of feet of water which needs draining every so often

Problem when the stand was built. Beleive there is a spring (something like that) that runs very close to top end of holmesdale road. Building had to be stopped as the foundations were sinking ans had to be made deeper.

No the water is below this level. The exits are there as they were going to build lounge area/ bar. Even when Noades was there nobody can afford it.
