Rotherham expecting 8000

Just took a peek at rotherhams site and they say they are expecting a GOOD crowd of around 8000 if we sell our 2000, which we wont. 8000, good? Makes you realise how lucky we are.

I would say that is pretty poor for the first game of the season at home after a promotion season last year. I would have thought they should have sold their 10,000 seats plus however many we bring (say 600) giving them a reasonable crowd of 10,600. Almost a sell out!

It does make you think about how these clubs with such small stadiums survive and do so well also. Must have good managers!!! Watch out SB!

I agree with SAMO* I now find Saturdays to be generally brilliant days spoilt only by being required to watch ninety minutes of mediocre football.

I know what you mean but for me the best bit is having a drink before the game especially if theres a bit of banter with the locals. The footy can be a complete pain in the @rse.

Apparently we'd sold 1100 tickets before the open day, so with any luck we should take about 1500. Not a bad turn out...
