Was Bob Dowie at the match today?

Just curious if anyone saw him there. The reason I ask is that I was in an Indian Restaurant in Harpenden tonight, and he walked in at 8:30 and got a takeaway. I wouldn't have thought he could have got there that quickly from Plymouth.

Incidentally, the only other non-takeaway customer in the restaurant besides besides myself and friends was Mick Harford - recently sacked by Rotherham.

The Harpenden Tandoori is clearly the place the football world goes to on a Saturday night!

another of Bob Dowie's vast range of skills..

Well if Bob was not there, Popa MUST have been the one given the opportunity to give the team talk, as Dowie, McDonald or Harbin certainly didnt before the match.

What on earth was that all about? Dowie, McDonald and the back room staff on the bench some ten minutes before the team come out and no team huddle before the start either, not that this has made any difference for the past four months anyway.
All in all a very strange thing to see and do from a Management team!

The management team came out at least 5 minutes before the players at last weeks match against wolves

The 'Squad' and 'Management' travelled to 'Plymouth' on "Air Southwest" on Friday afternoon and were scheduled to return today. 'Bob Dowie' was deployed elsewhere and was NOT present at 'Home Park'.

Your good self might choose to cast eyes to the 'Heavens', however rather than being dismissive and resorting to puerile 'Sarcasm', I have made a positive contribution to the debate by providing an answer to the question.

BD is not always at the game, had quite a long conv with him the other week and he does a lot of scouting on match days. also mentioned a couple of names for January.
Nobody to bring in 5k through the gate though.

As long as he's as far away as possible from the 1st team that's a good thing. Keep him away from scouting, too. Otherwise he may "discover" another Torghelle.

If this is indeed the 'Actualite' there was clearly a change to the 'Modus Operandi'. What cannot be 'Disputed' is the fact that the players and management departed for 'Plymouth' on Friday afternoon on "Air Southwest" and 'Darren Ward' was included in the party.
