Forest put Gareth Taylor on transfer list

And before anyone starts a thread with any of these comments.....

"Worth a punt"

"We need a target man"

"Dowie and Harbin would soon sort him out"

"Be good to have him back - he loved playing for Palace"

...........No!!!!!!

Palace ST holder for 40 years. Palace bonded me with my Dad. I met my partner and several great friends through the club. Palace have mad, passionate, funny supporters, and ex-players who care enough about the club to stay in touch. It's a roller-coaster ride, but that’s the way we like it. And it’s not plastic. Palace til I die.

No thanks! He should never have been moved from his original
position of centre-half.

No thanks. One of the few ex-Palace who I haven't regretted seeing go when they've done better at another club

Stick him in as a squad member and see what happens, pay him peanuts per week so if it doesn't work out its no biggy, certainly wouldn't dislodge anyone in the starting 11 though thats for sure

I've still got mine! Stoke away, those were the days. I still remember that story about how we actually wanted Marcus Stewart but ended up with Taylor.

Did he also score in the foggy thrilla at port vale? One of the biggest Palace flops of all time.

Traditional target man. Could be just what AJ wants. Bit like Crouch but without the technical skills.

Noades had a habit of taking the lesser striker out of a good partnership-I remember us getting Bruce Dyer and not Paul Furlong, which was similar.

Don't know what the game was but my favourite Shirley Taylor moment came when Dougie took the ball around several defenders, stopped, picked the ball up and painted "Here's your first, Gareth" on it before planting a perfect cross on his head from which my Auntie Edna could not possibly have missed and GT of course sent it into the crowd. The look on Dougie's face was worth a million. I think that was the moment most of the crowd's patience became exhausted.

Auntie Edna sounds pretty useful. Can she kick with her left foot?

Worth a punt?
