The Football Museum at Preston

Anyone else go in it today before the match?

First time I have been in it and thought it was superb. Spent over an hour in there and will no doubt go back for another look on Tuesday.

If you did not get to it today and have not seen it before you really ought to try and get in there for a quick walk about prior to the game on Tuesday. It is well worth it and it is free!

Me, Chloe and mate Tony went today and thought it was superb. The ball from the Bury 6 Derby 0 Cup Final was a highlight for me. Few Palace bits too. Highly recommend it.
Oh, we had a go at presenting MOTD as well. ••••ed it up though.

Obviously not yesterday, but back in August when we played them, I met up with some friends who support Preston.
We walked around the museum together. It is well worth a visit.

Quality place although slightly confusing layout! Bert Trautmann's neck brace was a highlight for me, plus Maradona's shirt from the 86 World Cup game against England - (was he the smallest man EVER?!)

Needed more than an hour so didn't see it all but what I saw was brilliant.

We didn't go yesterday but went the last time we played PNE.
As you say, very impressive and well worth a visit if in that neck of the woods.

Great experience when I went a few seasons back. Pie 'n' Peas in the Cafe was superb too.

Particularly enjoyed finding Palace's name on the Div 3 South Championship shield, and also spotting the ZDS Cup. There was a brochure from the Supporters Trust in there, and mention in wall tableaux that Crystal Palace were one of 11 clubs who met and set up the rules for association football, and also were one of the first 12 entrants in the FA Cup (predeccesor club BTW)

They also had an England shirt from 1872!!!!!
