RIP Keith Tuckey
The chairman of Croydon Athletic FC sadly passed away on Wednesday 22nd March 2006.
He spent a lifetime dedicating his time and money with an undeniable passion for the game and a few players at CAFC went on to play for Palace. For some history of this man and the clubs short history. Click here The whole club has is focused on grass roots football and currently have youth teams of all ages male and female. The under 14's are also involved in a cup final at Chipstead football club on the 20th of April at 7.30PM in which we will pay tribute to the life of Keith, if you can attend and show your support, you will be most welcome. Thankyou for reading. RIP - Keith Tuckey, You will be sadly missed. Last edited by riz : 23-03-2006 at 11:23 AM. |

Very sad news.
My older son played in two very enjoyable seasons with Croydon Athletic. - His name is on one of the trophies in the boardroom there. Keith worked hard to build up the club. He will be missed by many at Croydon Athletic. |

My son plays for the under 13s. I didn't know keith personally but reading the clubs message board today it is obvious he was so well liked and respected and has made the club what it is today. On Saturday all of the junior players have been asked to go to the home game in their kits as a mark of respect. Very sad and so sudden.
