It's to do with a set of enamel badges.
Basically, there is someone, somewhere (Russia probably) who is producing a lot of high quality enamel football badges relating to Crystal Palace, with things on them like
"Crystal Palace Supporters Club - Ukraine branch" (even though there is no such thing - it is basically some enterpising Rusky who knocks out these badges, knowing that Palace badge collectors will scramble for them on ebay, and it makes them a nice little profit. They are very nice badges though.
There are others with "themes" - one is a design called "Red and Blue Power", which features the club crests of Palace, Barcelona and CSKA Moscow, because all 3 sides wear red and blue (we are supposed to believe that fans of CSKA Moscow know who CPFC are, and have an interest in us due to us wearing Red and Blue, and so produced the badge, whereas in effect the badge was more or less produced for Palace fans, as the text is even in English)
Getting back to the original question, the link is that there was a badge produced which was sold on ebay, whic featured 4 European Clubs called "eagles" - Palace, Lazio, Benfica (from whom we got our nickname in 1973) and MOSCOW DYNAMO. (They could have also had Eintracht Frankfurt)
