BBS WWE(ish) PPV Predictions League 2006 - ECW One Night Stand
Well nottsunieagle seriously deserved a break, and as you may have noticed I'm something of an ECW megafan, so you lucky lucky childr'n have my services back for some one-off predictions goodness. From what I've read there's been some seriously cool and exciting stuff building up to this show and the return of ECW in the form of a weekly show, as well as some slightly perplexing business. But one thing's guaranteed, this one's gonna have a whole lot more worth getting out of your chair for than almost any regular PPV, even if things get ugly. Personally I'm most looking forward to Mickles' November to Remember 1995 redux tag match of much-promised hardcoriness, and Taz finally choking that noted cradle-robbing bitch Lawler out. The last couple matches I've posted up here are not 100% confirmed & kosher but I'm fairly confident (and hopeful!) that they're happening. 'My bad' if not. The show kicks off at 1am this Sunday/Monday from the packed-out Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Sky Sports, and that's your deadline to get your picks in.

If you're new or forgot, the concept is simple. Guess who's going to win each match on the card and some other shit that's gonna happen...yes we know it's 'fake'...that actually means that, if you ask me, there's a whole lot more fun and thinking involved in predicting the results than if it were legitimate sporting contest. New folk are very very welcome. If you're an omniscient being you just might have a chance of catching Edders by years' end. Remember, all these matches will be held under 'ECW rules'...not much chance of a non-finish.

*My judgement on this one, let's just say that taking a risk and picking Shane Douglas is more likely to get you a point than trying to be clever and saying Axl Rotten...
