Yes, we got good money. It's now time to get rid of the deadwood who will never progress at this football club:

Granville, Ward, Hudson, Black, Macken, Torghelle, Kiraly.

Then let's start signing some footballers. Nugent, Mcleod, Myhill would be a good start!

We need to build the team around the spine of Boyce - Watson - Clinton. Bring through the youngsters Taylor, sign the cream from the U21's and then use the experienced Popovic and Hughes to blend us into a promotion winning team.

I'd also keep Mark Hudson. Been very unfairly treated in my opinion. Was our best player in pre season last year, played one game (Luton) then dropped.

Had a good spell when he came in mid season, injured, then didn't get another chance!

Let's be fair about this. The 2 players sold both had off seasons last season, both wanted to leave and both were on big money. Palace did well to get the money they have. Palace need players who want to play for the club in the championship.

Well seeing hoe it looks like we've made over 11 million quid from two players, it's not unreasonable to expect a fairly decent proportion of that to be pumped back into the squad. This is afterall what Jordan had promised when we had sold AJ.

Agreed. Always thought Hudson deserved more of a chance being as he made a positive move to palace and away from the reserves of a prem club, and I don't remember much of a complaint out of him over the last two years (although he was injured for quite a while).

I agree with glaziers fan about the dead , new manager , new era and new quality players needed.

I suggest we start with the spine of the team , a quality goalkeeper , 2 new centre halves, centre midfielder and 2 new strikers.

Get rid of both Kiraly and Speroni , Hudson , Macken and black.

Get in young or older hungry , determind quality player.

I'd say Boyce, Hughes and McAnuff were all better than Hall last season, although I think Hall can be a good player in the long term.

In theory we have £18.5 mill to spend including the parachute payment but i'd be happy for us to spend £5 and use the rest to safeguard our future 1 theres a fair few free transfers about, 2 use the loan system, 3 we could spend it all and still not go up.
