Michael Kwatia?
I got an email this morning from a client of my firm who knows I am a big Palace fan.
Twas to tell me that he played golf last week with a guy that claimed to have been a Palace player for three years (client didnt know when) and asking what I knew about him. The guy that was claiming to have played for us was called Michael Kwatia. I have to say that it rang no bells with me and the search facilities on these boards came up with no matches. I realise that I have prolly just embarassed myself and that everyone will reply with 'dont you remember his great song' and 'call yourself a Palace fan' but I have never heard of the guy. Ring any bells with you or is this guy spinning a line?

Family name seems to be of African origin -- maybe Ghana. I suppose he might have been an academy player who was released.

Whoever he is, he never played for the first team in any games (friendlies either).
I don't recognise the name from reserve fixtures either, although as a kid it's possible he might have played for one of the under-16 sides. |
