Former striker Gareth Taylor has joined Tranmere on a free from Forest. Cue lots of nashing of teeth from Rovers fans, he was truly pants for Palace!

I felt sorry for Gareth in his time with us.

He tried really hard and NEARLY scored lots of goals!!! His goal scoring record for us was shocking but with a bit of luck would have been a great deal better!!

He has played for Bristol Rovers, Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Man City and Nottingham Forest.

We didn't have two Gareth Taylors did we?

He is about 33 now, played for us 10 years ago.
