I've heard Simon Osborn's on £250 a game.

Well lets just say that finance doesn't appear to be a problem at Hayes Lane these days. I think Osborn left Wallsall to join Bromley!

Haven't seen him myself, though he has played three times for the reserves all as substitute.

Bromley earn a point as Horsham get smashed 5-1 away!

Margate 0 Bromley 0 – League - 26/09/06

Bromley came back from their trip to the Kent Coast with a hard earned point from a real defensive battle at Hartsdown Park on Tuesday night.

The Ravens started brightly, but once the game settled Margate had a long spell of pressure pushing Bromley back, but the back three held out well and managed to spark off the occasional breakaway. Donal O’Sullivan Sam Wood and Nic McDonnell all tested home keeper Scott Chalmers-Stevens Margate had obviously done their homework flooding the midfield and not allowing Bromley any time on the ball with the home defence keeping The Ravens strikers out of the box and only able to shoot from distance, O’Sullivan, McDonnell, Peter Adeniyi, Lloyd Blackman & Wood all had efforts from outside the box but they never really tested Chalmers-Stevens.

Margate started the second half on top, but for all their pressure Bromley held strong at the back and Andy Walker was never really tested. As the half went on The Ravens became more of an attacking force Chalmers-Stevens made a save from Watts and a deflected cross from Wood was cleared off the line by Justin Skinner. Tutu Henriquies headed just over from a corner while at the other end Walker made a save from a well struck free kick.

The game became increasingly more scrappy and disjointed as both teams lost possession far too freely. Adeniyi & Blackman both tested Chalmers-Stevens late on while Paul Abbott shot wide for Margate, but the game finished goalless with both sides good for a point.

Quote for the game, ‘They’ve had us watched.’ – Stokes.

Bromley: Walker, Corneille, Wood, Duku, Henriques, O’Sullivan, Adeniyi, Watts, Moore, Blackman, McDonnell. Subs: Boot, Osborn, Stone, Simpson, Bowry.

Well after a 13 hour round trip supporting Bromley at Lowestoft, Bromley scored a late late winner to book their place in the FA Cup 3rd Q round.

September 30th 2006: Lowestoft Town 0 - 1 Bromley (FA Cup - 2nd Qualifying Round)

The Lillywhites squeezed into the next round of the FA Cup thanks to a last-gasp winner from Tony Boot. Bromley began well and almost took a second minute lead when Peter Adeniyi's back heel struck the post before Lowestoft came back into the game. Jamie Stokeld had Andy Walker at full stretch on two occasions with stinging long range efforts and the same player also sliced wide when well placed. Bromley regained the upper hand as the half wore on with Francis Duku forcing a good save out of Lowestoft 'keeper, Andy Reynolds on the half hour.

The visitors had a lucky escape in the 53rd minute when Jamie Godbold's corner eluded everyone before being blocked on the line by Mark Corneille and cleared by the boot of Walker. The final 30 minutes saw Bromley well on top but when Lloyd Blackman rattled the post from close range a replay seemed on the cards. That was until Rynolds flapped at Simon Osborn's cross and Boot was on hand to divert Sam Wood's volley into the empty net

Bromley represented by: Walker, Corneille, Wood, O'Sullivan, Henriques, Duku, Adeniyi, Moore (Bowry 62), Blackman (Boot 62), McDonnell, K. Watts (Osborn 71).
Unused subs: Greenway, Shimell.

It's fair to say Murray Jones and Bobby Bowry should really have won the award.

You could argue that if Bromley had lost as many games as they have won this year, people would be calling for Goldberg's head, so I guess it's only right he also gets some credit.

True, it's fair to say Goldberg deserves a lot of credit for putting such a good management team around him. He plays more the of a genuine managers role rather than coach, but i'm not complaining as we are still undefeated in the league and still in the FA Cup.

Last night the impressive run continued beating Corinithian Casuals 4-0 at home in the 1st round of the London Senior Cup. Played 13 matches in all competitions this year, won 9, lost 1, drawn 3, scored 28, conceded 6.

Bromley are at home this Saturday vs East Thurrock United (3pm) in the Ryman Premier League.

Bromley will play home to Fisher (3rd in Conference South) in 2nd Round of London Senior Cup

Bromley will play away at Hayes (of Conference South) in FA 3rd Q round

Two big cup ties and a chance to judge just how far the Ravens have moved forward this season.

Fisher should tonk Bromley.

Some of their lads on loan at Beckenham last year were quite good.
