Thought this deserved it own thread. Former Portsmouth player Dario Silva involved in a nasty car crash in a medically induced coma he's fractured his skull and may lose his legs.

He played for Malaga when they went on their run in the UEFA cup. Still idolised by certain sections of support. Very sad news.

"Silva's situation is absolutely not solved with the amputation. We are worried about a possible infection," said Dr Mario Cancela, who added that Silva had been placed in a medically-induced coma, after fracturing his skull. "The patient is under a pharmacological coma. Now, we are interested in saving his life."

To be honest it does not sound good, have a feeling odds on his survival are not as good as him not pulling through

Just been on Sky Sports News, really sad seeing him running around from last season. Apparently he is still sedated and unaware that he has lost his lower leg
