Reyna

Is Reyna not a very poor goalkeeper . I thought he was poor in the champions league in the week but He has now just handed Bolton a goal on a plate. He carried the ball out of the area on a punt and then dived the wrong way at the freekick. The idea that he is better than Kirkland say, is a joke

Dudek must also be a bit miffed after these mistakes

Champions League hero one day, nowhere near first team the next

But he didn't carry the ball out of the area, it was a crap decision from the lino.

He's a good goalkeeper, has his moments of madness, but most goalkeepers do.

He didn't handle the ball outside the box, it was an error by the lino. And the free-kick took a slight deflection, which led Reyna to dive the wrong way IMHO.

I think he's an excellent keeper...he's going through a difficult spell though. He kept loads of clean sheets last season didn't he?

He makes mistakes more often than not

He will cost Liverpool any chance they have of winning the league
bad lino decision today though but why he dived behind his own wall is beyond me

He is still quite young for a goalie, only 24 I think? I think he's obviously a good goalie but he's lost form.

A club record of 31 in a season and a club record of 6 in a row I believe. I don't think that means he's automatically an amazing keeper, but I think it means he's not an awful one.

Would have helped if the linesman was in line with it, rather than 5 yards forward..no way was he in a position to make that decision. Wasnt marginal IMO. Ridiculous decision.

It was far from marginal, was well within his area.

The kick was superb too, it landed on the Liverpool strikers head on the edge of the Bolton area. May have set up a great counter-attack if the whistle didn't go.

Still great strike by Speed, eh!

I don't think he is as good as he's made out (and I've held that view ever since Liverpool signed him - not just a recent change of heart).

I think that's right. There are several keepers on his level (e.g. Robinson).

Reina gets away with a lot because Liverpool's defence has been so solid over the past couple of years. He reminds me of Barthez, not sure why he is rated so highly.

Its "Reina" not "Reyna", Reyna is an american midfield player.
