I just pre-ordered one from Sendit.com.

Dunno, if they'll have any in stock, but I thought I'd give it a go.

Not going to bother preordering, just going to go on the hunt when it comes out, same with the Wii as well, i managed to hunt out a 360 and ill do the same with both of these, if i find anywhere i'll let you know!

I was planning on doing that, but figured it wouldn't do any harm to have a back-up on pre-order.

Been hunting around for info about them, and apparently there's been some secret agreement for sony & microsoft not to use HDMI for a few years, so there may be no HDMI cable for a while.

So I may invest in a VGA one instead.

well gameplay don't hold out much hope:

I'm sure I read something somewhere about Sony using a different standard of HDMI, current being 1 and sony using 1.3 thus most if not all TVs are not currently compatible with it. I might try and dig that up again.

I can't read that article cos it's blocked.

But the one I read indicated that HDMI wouldn't be enforced till 2010 to give HD technology a chance to get a foothold

I thought the 360 HDMI was done and dusted, Lik Sang had even started advertising them. They also pretty much have to release a bigger drive too with the TV shows and films about to be floged on marketplace. 20 gig is a joke.

dvi is identical to hdmi too

i have ten quid converters that work fine

DVI isn't the same as it doesn't carry Audio but other than that it is
