Adobe Lightroom
I've been playing with this for a couple of months now, and I'm wondering if any other BBSers tried it yet? The beta 4 is available for download at the Adobe website (you'll need to have or create and Adobe ID) and IMHO, if you're into photography it's more than worth investigating.

Adobe have taken image processing to a new level and I'm sure in time it will become an essential part of every photographers' workflow.

I installed the beta a whilst back but haven't used it since then, it might be time to take a look

It is, yes, although it's available for both PC and Mac.

I understand it was initially put together by a small team at Adobe with very little help and the bigwigs were on the point of pulling the plug, then Aperture was announced and Adobe promptly slung everything they've got into it.

Part of my course im doing will involve Digital Photography. I have Adobe CS2 so might download a demo and play about with it!

If you have a camera capable of shooting RAW then you will find it more than useful
