Comupter gurus help please

My 30 month old Sony Vaio just died. It refuses to boot. Gives me a screen with about 8 start up options (safe, safe + networking, normal, vga enabled, last known successful etc). None of them will start it up - it spews out a bunch of DOS command lines then I get a brief flash of blue screen of death then it restarts. Worked find 4 hours ago. Only weird thing was that internet was working on one user account and refusing to on the other.

Can't find startup disks. Doing this message on the other computer. Bright ideas please.

you can boot from the windows cd by changing the boot order in the BIOS and then reinstall windows (hopefully without affecting your data).
