Palace In CM 01/02
So one week in what do you all think. Kirovski has done great for me in the free role with 8 goals in 10 and 8.47 raring, while Aki is in the 8's. Gray is crap, Clarke not too clever.

Grays my best player in my game. He's played about 25, scored about 9 and assisted 19 or something with a 7.89 average. Dougie and Jovan have also done well for me. Aki can only get in my side on some occasions as I have bought a couple of quality midfielders and Pollocks being a bit of a god for me.

The fog of war option is definately the biggest change. Apart from that it's probably just little things. Like Ultimatums to the board, sending players to rehab for recurring injuries, being able to compare players things like getting fines from the FA and appealing against bans. That's about the only changes though really. Although it doesn't sound that much. It's more than you think. It's worth getting. Put it that way.

I've just got the new Champ Man and am pleased to report that the Palace team is a bloody good one! You also get a bit of money to spend (£4 million or so) which makes it more fun than previous versions. My first action was to send that useless waste of space Vickers back to the Riverside! Dabizas was brought in from the Geordie Scum for £2.2m and 3 inspired free signings (Negri, Arizistabal and Pfilpsen) have seen Palace in their rightful position at the top of Division 1 (and hopefully after the Wolves game that's where we'll be!!!) - my front three (Kirovski, Negri and Freedman) are ripping the opposition apart and Kirovski is the league's top scorer with 25 goals from 27 starts! Aki is having a great seaon and Morrison is scoring a hatful for the reserves!

I was vey impressed with the squad, but i only saw it after the patch. Deffaintly worth getting, a lot more realistic than previous years!

It's an option which means you can only see the stats to well known players. People who aren't so well known will show just a few stats and players who are very unlikely to be heard of have no stats at all. To be able to see all the stats of the players you must scout them. Make sense? I thought it would be crap but it makes it a lot better.

As I said in a previous thread this is the first CM i have brought and so far i must say it's not too bad but why is it that some of the players mentioned on here i cant actually find on my game when i search for them! I.E when i search for english players i find them without any problems but when i specifically search for an overseas players i can't find them is it because i haven't got many backgroung leagues on if any at all?

I just bought that game and I haven't got aclue what the controls are. Everyone says its good so I bought but it is well complicated to get around it compared to LMA!

Yeah...You obviously haven't got the leagues you need to have to find the playes you are searching for. There's also the chance that you have the database on minimum so go into the options and change it to normal or maximum. You'll have to start a new game to find the players you want though.
Go into the editor and check in that if the players you are looking for are in the game.

No it's not. I'm completely used to it but what do you expect when I've had every CM since CM '93. Everytime they change the layout though it does take a while to get the hang of so no, it's not that easy to get around.
