Problem with 360
My 360 keeps freezing, It makes a beep noise and then it freezes.I do not have any red lights.

Any ideas?

Seems like overheating, does the screen go funny after the beep (weird pixels appearing on screen)....if so could be the graphics chip going (like mine did ). The end is nigh I'm afraid.

Get on the dog and bone to Xbox and get them to come and pick it up ASAP, alternatively try taking it back to the shop you got it from and ask for an exchange, some people have tried this and it has worked so could be worth a punt.

You should be alright to exchange for up to a year with the shop you purchased from.

I changed my box a couple of times with Toys R Us.

There are 2 cooling fans in the 360,with a scale 1-10,I connected one of the fans to 10,since then its ok.

I should have said more on another thread. I was experiencing an E65 error I think it was (1 red ring) when booting up the 360, CE (Steve) gave a link to a site displaying all 360 error codes. It said my error code was due to the fan or hard drive. I have since then disconnected the cooler unit, not one error since.
The best thing is to buy a cheap fan and keep the area of your 360 well ventilated

Not anymore im afraid. I was in game and was told shops are no longer to take any Xbox 360 back or trade in anymore from June 1st 2007. This is because beople are changing the firmware which then get banned on Xbox live then take there 360 in claiming its broke or want to trade it to buy something else. You now have 28days to return a faulty console to a shop from the date on your receipt. My 360 was only fixed last week after it started freezing then I got the red lights around a week later, only took 10days to get back.

They attach to the power socket on the back of the 360 and draw power away from it, so the 360 doesn't actually get as much power as it needs which causes more problems.

Owwww E,Not good. Get down the shop and poitely demand an h'exchange. I got mine exchange ( with a broken warranty sticker) and they even gave me back the ten pound price difference!!!

mine occasionally crashes mid-game, but never with any lights or anything.

mostly not a problem as auto-saves keep my position.
