Division One - Fixture Thread
All division one fixtures will now be posted in this thread. Please keep an eye on this thread for fixture updates.

The deadline for the new fixtures is the release date for PES2008. Outstanding fixtures must be played by Sunday 30th September.

I am keen to get this finished so I can run a small cup competition before the release of the new version of the game, but that's down to everyone here.

Game One -
Valencia - Roma



Valencia looked promising from the start, and it was no surprise when Villa scored after a 1 on 1 with the keeper on 15 minutes. The Roma players all claimed Villa was offside, but replays showed that he'd timed his run to perfection.
However the tide started to turn towards the end of the first half, after Totti squirmed his way through several defenders before blasting a left foot shot into the corner.
The second half was full of chances for both sides, but the majority of them came for Roma, and with 30 minutes to go Totti was released through the middle of the pitch where he blasted a shot past Canizares to make it 2.
Roma held onto this lead to avenge their defeat by Valencia earlier in the season

Game Two
Everton - Roma


A very bright start from Roma saw them score after only two minutes. And what a goal!!
The architect was Totti, who breezed past the defence into the box before laying the ball to Vucinic, who, in a sublime move, did a backheel volley from the penalty spot, completely bamboozling the Everton keeper to take the lead.
Roma held sway for most of the remaining 88 minutes, with Everton only managing a couple of goal attempts, but couldn't capatilise further and had to settle for the single goal.
