Michael Hughes

A good source in the Wombles camp tells me that they are looking to offload Michael Hughes. Any takers?

Anyone who originally chose the wombles over the mighty Eagles obviously has no ambition.
IMHO Not good enough for us.

Not exactly a revelation Ruskin - Burton himself has publicly said he'd listen to offers !

What makes me laugh is them complaining their squad is too large and they have to cut the wage bill, a few days after signing Hakan Mild.

Expect Andy Roberts (out of contract end of the season) to be a casualty.

Apart from the game earlier this season, I've always thought Michael Hughes has looked very good when they've played us.

I'd take him, at the right price.

He's definitely a good player but wouldn't fit inot our wing back formation.

Guido is playing for a contract
I have always quite rated him. He would be good to give us additional options and cover for Kirovski. Didn't Kember say he wanted a play-making midfielder or one that could score a few goals?

Problem is he must be earning a fair amount and hasn't he been around for ages, how old is he now?

Burton has been quoted as saying that Wimbledon have 19 players out of contract at the end of the season so there could be a real bargain basement sale soon. But there any apart form Connolly that we would want?

Remember a similar managerial quote about Palace last season and ensuing panic about departures. It turned out that 12 of the 15 quoted had never/rarely played for the first team. How many FIRST TEAMERS are out of contract? If it's close to 19 somebody at the club should be shot!

Seems like good planing to me. Wimbledon's Premier league parachute money runs out at the end of this season so a easy way to drop most of their high wage earners is just what they will need.

Sorry...but he's pants in my mind.

He seems to have this alter-ego when on the pitch...thinking he's the hardest man out there...not really what we need,

A couple of Wimbledon mates say he's sh!te...so I'm quite happy to forget about him.
