Talking of Bostock...

and most people seem to be, I was surprised to find that I can remember the 'other' Bostock who played for Palace in 1948-9.
Are there any other oldies out there who can remember him (not easy, I think he only played four games)? If so, can you remember his first name? The Palace website has him as 'Ben' but the Margate (where he spent some time) one calls him 'Roy'.
I always thought his name was 'Ginger'.

Ben Bostock was the correct name. His middle name was Roy.

CPFC2010 put it better than I ever could: "To be in with a good shout of promotion is a real bonus. Above all just proud to see the Academy doing brilliantly, attendances up and the club very much on the up with a top class manager and some great players."
