Any Zelda fans out there?

If so, what's your favourite game in the series?

Though Ocarina of Time, was one of the best Zeldas ever, I love Twightlight Princess and Wind Waker.

I bought The Phantom Hourglass on DS when it first came out and STILL haven't got round to playing much of it. I left it when I got stuck, I shouldn't give up really, I am considering playing it this week.
Anyone else still playing this?

I got about 3/4 of the way through Ocarina of Time back in the day. Haven´t played any of the others.

Ocarina of Time was by far my favourite game on the N64. I found Majora's Mask a bit frightening and I enjoyed Windwaker for the short time that I had it, but I hated the gamecube and swapped it with a mate for an xbox.

What was the Zelda on the SNES? That has pretty special memories. Wind Waker was great, but Ocarina of Time was simply amazing for the time. When you got out of the village for the first time and were presented with the huge plain and you just thought "holy shit". Brilliant.

Even the fishing subgame was a work of genius. Took me ages to catch that bloody eel hiding right at the bottom.

Not played the Wii one. Is it good?

My favourite was the one on the SNES by far. Since then they've all been a bit meh IMO, especially the Wind Waker - once I got past the novelty of the graphics and got onto the bit where you just sail around a huge ocean dredging up crap, it got extremely boring extremely fast.

Ocarina is my favourite Zelda (although I think it's because I could dedicate hours of time to it when it came out. Loved Twilight Princess, didn't like WindWaker (neither graphics nor gameplay) and found Majora's Mask scary and frustrating so never completed it.

Never played Zelda on SNES and not really a big DS player so haven't played any like that really either.

Ocarine of Time is without doubt THE Best game EVER made! Never mind best Zelda game.

Majora's Mask was good, Wind Waker was ok, but was prob my least fave of the 4 I've played. Twilight Princess was good what I played of it!

Yeah Twilight Princess was great, it had the same massive plain as OoT, but you get to change into a big old wolf instead of having a horse all the time), like OoT you have to learn songs, but this time howl them out in the right tune, and have some irritating little creature (which is a princess too) ride around on you, first of all, you wish that you could just maul the thing to death, but after a while you get quite attached to her.
It's another masterpiece game, I played it on the cube instead of Wii, I recommed it, it's a certainty you will complete it, it's very addictive.

I like the fact that the newer Zelda games, Link has a side kick, the fairy however, will always be the best. Though the dragon boat in Wind Waker, was the least irritating.

I'm interested in everyone's reactions to Majora's Mask. I thought it was just me, that thought it was seriously creepy and twisted. I gae up playing it, because I could never complete the cow alien abduction side game.
I think also because there was a huge moon crashing to earth and you only had 3 days to do everything in, and had to wait til certain parts of certain days to complete tasks, then go back and forth in time, it just drove me mad in the end.

OoT was just the most amazing gaming experience at the time, and a
of all time. Wind Waker was fun, one you get over the initial change in graphics, I really liked it, it wasn't as dark as MM.

I am having trouble with Phantom Hourglass, I've not really got into it because of it being scaled down on the DS, anyone complete it?

I gave up on it too! Could not get my head round the whole resetting clock concept. Shame, because the game was huge!

I liked Majora's Mask as I said, but I agree... The whole going back and forth etc was so confusing! I didn't get very far in it.

My order (Baring in mind OoT was the first game I played).

1. Ocarina of Time
2. Twilight Princess (Very briefly)
3. Majora's Mask
4. Wind Waker
5. I haven't played any of the old ones in great detail but I did get the disc for GC with all of them on so I sampled 1 and 2! But I'm going to put OoT Extened Version (Can't remember if that was what it was called now) as my number five!

Ocarina of Time for me, i loved that game, I never really got into Goldeneye because of it. I bought the new Zelda on the Wii (Twilight Princess?) but really really struggled to get into it, i think my brain has become lazy over the years and can't be arsed with such massive games.
