Boro, Hull & WBA will go down
Hull & Boro already in freefall, Albion just not up to it. Stoke will scrape safety on GD I reckon.

Hull will be ok. But its so tight down at the bottom, a couple of wins on the bounce for any of the bottom three and they could go mid table. WBA and Stoke are two definites for me to go down, and as for the other remaining place it could be anybody out of 8 or 9 teams..but lets hope its Spurs

Hull need to start winning games they are stuck in a rut all that confidence they gained at the start of the season will have almost gone and now with Brown moaning about the penalty that shouldnt have been given anyway hes created more pressure.
Portsmouth , Stoke , WBA and Hull for me 3 from 4 |

I think Brown has undone all his good work with the HT boll***ing he gave them when they got hammered last week. They had a good run but they've been found out. |

I dunno - they didn't do badly against Villa. You're right about getting found out though - a few good results but bloody hell, they've taken some right hammerings. My tip for the drop - Pompey, WBA, Sunderland.

Hull's December results - Hull 0-1 Aston Villa Man City 5-1 Hull 1-4 Sunderland Liverpool 2-2 Hull Hull 2-1 Certainly not great but considering their early season form, I think they'll finish at the very least at 15th or higher. The other thread |

Hull's current first team squad, plus two or three judicious defensive signings this month, should be able to build upon their excellent start and scramble enough points to stay in the Premier League. Brown's experience at Bolton will enable him to find the right players to do the job and buy Hull another season to consolidate on what has already been achieved. The half-time on-the-pitch lecture has been blown out of all proportion by the media, as was shown by the outstanding way the Hull players responded in the last game v high-flyers Villa who must have been relieved to have pulled off their last gasp victory. |

Hull aren't in freefall - just had a couple of heavy losses, was always going to happen in their maiden premiership season. Villa (the best outside of the big 4) were extremely lucky to get 3 points against hull the other day and only recently drew 2-2 at Anfield. No one expected them to carry on with their early season form and even the biggest Hull fan wouldn't have had them in the top 5 at the end of the season. Teams are starting to suss them out and it will be harder for them but I very much doubt they will get relegated. WBA - agreed. Dont really have much fire power up front or quality throughout the team. Boro - some good players but they aren't getting results. Possibily going down. I think WBA and Stoke will get relegated...and one of Boro, Blackburn, West Ham or Sunderland. |

According to those stats, Hull did at least register a 2-1 victory over themselves which should give them hope.

QUOTE] A couple? Several I think, and mainly against average teams as well. All their best wins have been against teams that would have expected to beat them. I would like them to stay up, but I think they are doomed. |

Middlesbrough will not go down. Every year they have a dreadful November/December but every year by February they're pulling out some good results.
Middlesbrough will finish 14th or something, just far enough from relegation to never be serious contenders.

Don't bank on it Eddie. Inexperienced manager (much liked at SP mind), can't see Downing staying beyond Jan, and they keep losing JAT. |

Hull just survive. Boro safe by a few places Tottenham will be safe easily along with Blackburn now they've both got good experienced managers at the helm.
