Woe, Is Me are OK. I'm really getting into August Burns Red now, they are awesome for a metalcore band. Same with Parkway Drive. They might not be to everyone's taste but I can't wait for BMTH's new album. They are seriously underrated in the metal community just because of their haircuts when they are actually heavy as f*ck if you take the time to listen to them, especially their new stuff.

BMTH are amazing, have been listening to them for a couple years now. They are bigger than I thought.

ABR - They are ok, haven't heard to much of their stuff.

Parkway Drive again not heard too much of their stuff.

I still haven't listened to Bring Me The Horizon's new album, I wasn't too keen on them before but I've only heard good things about their new effort.

Anyway, does anyone reckon it would be a good idea to start a 'core' bands thread? Seems like quite a few people on here like hardcore and metalcore, so might be a good idea.

BMTH new stuff sounds very different to their old stuff, IMO

Guys you should really check out Don Broco, they aren't that heavy but are very very good, listen to Thug Workout or Dreamboy. Their videos are on Youtube, very funny vids. Check them out and let me know what you think.

Hardcore punk isn't the same as metalcore, but I'll leave it in this thread.

Don Broco are hilarious, Thug Workout is absolutely great and the video's quite easily one of the best I've seen.

If it's alright to talk about hardcore acts then I've been listening to a load of At The Drive In, La Dispute, Burn Down Rome and Modern Life Is War recently. Modern Life Is War are quite possibly my favourite hardcore band ever, Witness is an incredible album.

I will take a listen to a few of them.

I am going to see Don Broco on Saturday in Colchester. Seen them twice already, they are one of the best bands I have seen live.
Their lead singer, Rob Damiani, is a funny bloke had a conversation with him for about half hour about crap really - drunken talk!

They are on tour at the moment check out their dates and go see them!

Bump. Glamour of the Kill last night announced their new album's (it's called 'The Summoning') release date (January 24th), a massive UK tour beginning in February (I think) and today they released a song from the album called 'Supremacy'. I love them personally, they are my favourite band. I believe Metal Hammer gave their first EP 10/10 so it's not just me who likes them! Anyway, here it is:

Maiden tour! They're touring the UK, ending at the O2 on August 5th which I would very much like to go to so I'm going to try to get tickets on Saturday. I haven't got the bastards and already I'm excited as fúck! Anyone else going?
