Sports betting: Newspaper tipsters

I've taken an active interest in betting for the last few months, and have started reading newspaper tipsters columns. At the moment, I try to read:

The Sun: Andy Topham
The Metro: 'The Tipster'
The London Paper: Steve Mullen

All are good quick reads for people interested in sports betting like me.

Does anyone else read these guys - or others? There must be hundreds of sports betting columnists around the world ...

Any need for this when there's already a betting thread for this kind of stuff?

If I were a newspaper tipster I'd be bigging up Antony Kim's chances each way at 25/1 (Stan james) this week in the A & T National and Graeme Storm each way at 60/1 (Bet365) in the Open de France. They will be my first 4 bets in the July betting competition anyway

The best tip I ever received was not to waste my money at the bookies.
