Euro 2012 Qualifying fixtures

England's fixtures were announced today.

3 September: England v Bulgaria

7 September: Switzerland v England

12 October: England v Montenegro

26 March: Wales v England

4 June: England v Switzerland

2 September: Bulgaria v England

6 September: England v Wales

7 October: Montenegro v England

Doubt Capello wanted us to be away last.
Personally, I'm pleased there's only one away match this year.

He'd originally agreed no June fixtures, so that's bound to annoy.

I thought you had some of the dates a day out but having just checked they are correct:

http://www.thefa.com/England/News/20...-2012-Fixtures

Anyone know why some of the games are being played Friday and Tuesday instead of Saturday and Wednesday?

Qualification will be wrapped up with a draw in Sofia.

We then piss on Wales with our second team and send some kids to Montenegro

I think it's to get players back to their clubs a day earlier.

I really wanted Wales at home to be early on, so such a scenario wouldn't happen. Wembley's dull enough without a decent derby being meaningless.

Best we can hope for is that Wales have a sublime campaign and ours isn't great so that Wales at Wembley is a huge game
