At last some constructive and sensible discussion about our respective teams.

I have a couple of mates who are season ticket holders at Priestfield so it will be interesting to see what they say about your game against Forest. They are expecting 3 points so we will see. I went to the Stones v Gills friendly on Tue night in Sittingbourne and Stones held you 0-0 (admittedly Gills missed a hatful of chances and hit the bar three times I think). Hessy (aka Leatherface) kept his players in the changing rooms for 30 mins after the game aswell so I doubt he was happy. We will see what happens today. Let battle commence.

PalARSE stats - Shots on target 1, shots off target 1, corners 0, hit woodwork 0, fouls 14, offside 3

Gills stats - Shots on target 6, shots off target 7, corners 5, hit woodwork 0, fouls 10, offside 2

In my opinion the Gills were brilliant today beating bogey side forest 3-1. Marlon was superb and the midfield bossed the game. 54 points, 4 behind CP with a game in hand. The last few games are going to be stress free and with any luck we'll finish higher than you lot.

I fear, Mr Tony with the fearsome stomach, that you and your clan may well have good cause to sneak down to the local Tesco and swipe a bottle of Spanish sparkling to celebrate your rise above us in the table in approximately 14 days' time. I'd better give the local Medway Bill a ring right now.

Tony mate! how the devil are yer. You know I said we would definitely finish above you this season, well I'm getting an awful feeling of deja vu from what i said last season, I didn't realise , I suppose with many other Palace fans, that we were going to be such utter garbage under Francis, and now from being one of the top scorers in the league we can now hardly manage a shot on target. So fair play to your team mate, they're not super stars and they are well up for the fight in this division, unlike guttless and toothless Palace with Francis in charge. So well done your team (said with a gut wrenching I don't f-ing believe this is happening again feeling and total depression).

Gills V Norwich... Unlucky to come away with nothing as the boys played well again, especially the first half. After iffy's goal we had numerous chances to further our lead but Norwich had goal mouth clearances and the crossbar to thank.

2nd half Norwich derserved their equaliser as they piled on the pressure. Whether they derserved all 3 points, i didn't think so but hey that's footie.

Jason Brown, our keeper that's keeping Vince Bartram on the bench had a sound game. He made an excellent save for the penalty that should never have been and has recently been called up for the U21's Welsh side.

We've got a tough run in but I'm still confident of over-taking PalARSE.
