This is an odd time for me, being a fan of a different club every couple of days.

Tonight I am a Celtics fan, which as someone who has a soft spot for the Knicks (they boo their own players, it's like going to the Palace) is a new one for me.

A lot of talk last night about Stephon Marbury.

Basically D'Antoni has said he doesn't want him to be in his team as he's building his own line up, but he doesn't want to be disrespectful to the guy, but the Knicks owner won't release him from his contract or trade him off so Marbury is stuck in New York until the end of the season without any game time.

Basically they've said they'll only use him if they're desperate!

To be fair though it's not like the "Sonics" are the first Franchise to "relocate" and I doubt they'll be the last!

I used to be into the NBA big time about 10 years ago then I got back into it 2 years ago! Imagine my horror to find the Hornets were now in New Orleans, and the Grizzlies in Memphis.

Why did the Grizzlies move out of Vancouver? They weren't even that old!

Yeah, but from what I understand the Grizzlies never took hold in Vancouver, while the owner alienated himself from the local fans in Charlotte.

Oklahoma City supported the Hornets wonderfully after Hurricane Katrina. I don't have a problem with them. I do have a problem with shifty owners who manipulated a situation to oust 40+ years of basketball tradition in Seattle to move their team to their home (along with the former owner who made out he was surprised when a group from OKC said they were moving the team - what did he honestly expect them to do?).

That's the point. My issue isn't with the people of Oklahoma, it is primarily with Clay Bennett. While he is associated with Oklahoma, i'll boo them.

With no disrespect to College teams, I have to say the OCT road jersey's look awful purely because they look like a College teams jersey with Oklahoma City on the front. Far too long!!!

By the way when the Hornets had to play in OC during the Katrina Aftermath did they still have New Orleans on their jersey's or did they mock up some with OC on?

Look at the Eastern Conference - every other team is further east than OK so Western Conference is correct for them, I think.
