i cant spot another thread on this but wondered about the prices for this game etc. im planning on driving from croydon as it only take around 40 mins...would be a good one 2 go! anyone help me with ticket prices?and do u just buy on the door??

Tickets are available from the Wetherspoon by the station and the price is dependent on what you drink before the game. If you can clear two bottles of house brandy it's free but if you drink bitch piss like WKD Blue you're looking at 50 notes minimum.

To give a serious answer. Crawley have a capacity of 4,996 (1,150 seated and 3,846 standing). Going on past friendlies against Bromley & Crawley past attendancies are around the 1,500 to 1,900 mark.

I would imagine that if you turned up 1 hour before kick off you should get a seat if that is your preference.

Of course it was being clever and knobby to take the p1ss out of someone asking if they could pay on the day for a friendly. I apologise profusely and I hope that you manage to get in the ground ok and enjoy the game. Seriously, I would suggest you get there a couple of hours before kick off to be on the safe side. If the ground is already full then I'm sure there will be touts outside so you may be lucky to get one from them.

I too wondered if I could buy these in advance online. Please wither me with your supercilious sarcasm. I also wondered about on the door prices (their website says £17). Again, please feel free to look down your nose at me.

This is a thread about tickets and away travel. The poster asked a question about ticketing. You seem to be surprised by this. Rather than actually use your greater knowledge and experience to answer him, you used it to deride his ignorance and then patronise him. Closed circle cliqueyness at its worst. Scoffing at someone's lesser knowledge of football ticketing arrangements is frankly pathetic.

Back on thread, I did wonder if there was a way to get tickets in advance. I won't bother asking now. It is beneath the contempt of people who know the answer to actually answer.
