Round 2: 34-35
Round 3: 36-37
Round 4: 38-39
Round 5: 40-41
Round 6: 42-43
2.stage: 44-45
3.stage: 46-47
4.stage: 48-49
5.stage: 50-51

Part 2 of the BM CH will go from January 2011 to May 2011. Possibly with the winner from part 1 to meet the winner from part 2 in a superfinal at the end.

Groups of 4, the best two (14) and also the two highest scoring non finalists (irrespective of win/loss record) takes places in the last 16.
The bottom two go into the UEFA cup. Head to head’s, home/away.
The rules (simply put)

15 bets pr match (2 weeks pr match).

Two matches against each-other. Home/away rule; The “away team” will have to post up all their bets before the last day (will mean midnight Saturday’s). This giving the “home team” a slight advantage. You can of course bet on events taking place on the Sunday.

We are mainly using BM rules, that means for example that;

Scoring consists of total winnings and is inclusive of 10 point stake i.e. someone bets on a 6/4 horse and it wins their score becomes 25 (15 points profits plus the 10 pt stake) There is no score for any bets not used. Losing bets are scored as zero, not -10.
Any bet from an exchange bookie will have a 4% commission (on the winnings), if nothing else is explicitly stated in the post.

Players must quote where they're getting their prices.

After a bet has been posted up, one is not allowed to edit it..

In-play betting is not allowed. With exception for events that goes over several days; For example after 2nd round of a golf tournament has been completed or before play starts on the final day of test cricket.

For a bet to be valid, it must be placed before the published start time.

Remember fair play. Duplicating you’re opponents bets are not allowed.

The bets must be possible to do in real life.

The runner up is in!

Nice to get back to betting as I don't really bother with the monthly masters anymore as I prefer my bets to be around evens which is no good for them.

I thought you calculated it as 4% of the total return, not of the winnings? Happy either way as long as I know

Also I don't think you mentioned that in running bets are not allowed (assuming they're still not)

True. I have always calculated 4% of the total return. The rules in the first post was just lazily copied from something in the past.
I guess from all the comments about it (in the world cup thread and before), that people rather want 4% on the winnings. So let’s go for that.

IP betting is another thing. We allowed it for the World Cup and it seemed to work fine. But I could go either way on that for my part. Up to you guys..

I would say keep it to no in runnings, just encourages the home team to wait till Sunday and back 4 or 5 1.01s to get a win which isn't the point I reckon. Happy to go with the majority of course but that's my tuppence worth.

Do you still not use a spreadsheet for the scores? You might find it a lot quicker to use one. Anyway have sent the one I used (imagine you were on holiday or something) to the champs league when I scored it email which you're welcome to use as well

It has a formula to calculate exchange winnings of 4% of the profit, you just need to put the odds in and the rest is done for you. You're also welcome to ignore it of course

Been about 3 months from the last BM CH. Was the world cup in between though of course. Thought it would be good to start at the same time as the Championship.
