iPhone or Blackberry?
I'm sure this has been done before but...

I've finally got round to deciding I need a new phone and am looking at probably getting one of the two on contract for up to £35 a month. Any siggestions? I'm drawn to the iPhone at the moment but am not certain.

Any help would be apprciated, as well as any places which have good deals on at the moment.

I've had both and the iPhone is much better than the BlackBerry.

The iPhone is a lot easier to use, easier to read and doesn't seem to crash as often as my BlackBerry used to.

If lots of your mates have Blackberrys then I would go for that, otherwise go for the iPhone.

I recently upgraded from my 3G to the 3GS - £25a/m (that's with VAT inc) on a 24 month deal, unlimited texts and 600 mins. It was a 'reboxed' one but when I got it it looked brand new and works fine.

Blackberry's on the main are for people that prefer to chat on facebook and things than meet up down the pub or go for dinner etc. If your someone that prefers to have relationships over phone etc, get a blackberry. I took my mate to Palace on Saurday and she must have watched 10% for 'BBMing'; pathetic.

If you do get a blackberry, at least turn that shit off every now and then. Oh, and DO NOT be one of these cretins that refuses to call it a phone. 'I need my blackberry'. It's a phone, when was the last time anyone left their Motorolla at home?!

You can get the WhatsApp which allows iPhone and BlackBerry peeps to chat like the BBM. Doesn't cost anything to message each other on it. I use it as my daughter has a BlackBerry and I have an iPhone

When I say to a colleague / opponent at work 'I'll have my blackberry with me' it is shorthand for 'I can receive my work e-mails.' If I just said 'I have my phone with me' that would sound silly.

Blackberry if what you do is remotely work related. Otherwise something else.

One of our competitor firms is moving to iphones instead of what they currently have (some HTC rubbish - Mrs A hates hers). They are insane.

Oh sorry I should have clarified. That I fully understand and I don't bat an eyelid when bosses say that. You see my point in social areas though, right? Anyone with a Nokia etc etc just says 'bell me' or 'shit i've left me phone in doors'. far too many people in my experience have a need to use the word 'blackberry' at every opportunity.

I am coming upto my 'upgrade' period of which an iphone is available with Three now. It seems considerably more expensive to get the new iphone 4 than the previous one. What are the main differences and is it worth the extra money just to have the latest version?

iPhone.

The only problem is the battery life, but I have always charged my phone every night, and as well as that when I'm at home I listen to iTunes and have my phone plugged in, which charges it.
