FWL: Season XIV


Season XIV and the first season of FIFA 11 is on its way.

On Wednesday the website will be updated allowing managers to protect players if they wish (15k for 1 year, 40k for second year, 100k for third year). Please be careful of your finances. Punishments won't be handed out if you go into debt as long as you are making plans to get back into the black again.

At the moment we have divisions of 6,6,7 as we have 19 players.

FWL Creator and Competition Organiser: The Omen
I will focus on code for the website, improving the game and fixing bugs. I will also be the main competition organiser and it will be my job to set up fixtures and tournaments. I'll obviously also watch over all FWL events.

Chief Administrator: Panzer
Panzer will deal with any fair play issues and disagreements between players. He will keep an eye on deadlines, make sure people aren't going too mad on finances and keep an eye on teams going over their deadline. It will also be Panzer's job to keep the FWL rules up to date.

Data Administrators: Fozzie and Scotty
They will watch over data, adding new players and checking that ratings are correct.

Fozz, Hypje and Bullet deserve a big pat on the back for updating players. I'm hoping to actually allow admin players to have the same control of the site I do next season which should also give me time to keep adding bits to the code.

IMVHO, I think it would be unfair on the other newcomers to put Seaside in the Championship, however good he may have been in other tournaments, while they all start on League 1.

15k for 1 year, 40k for second year, 100k for third year I think...

Upgrades: First level upgrades will cost £100,000 - haven't got beyond that yet.

Looks like another season of non-promotion for the regulars in league one, but still looking forward to it (once I get my box back).

Seriously, I'm not saying it's easy, but something must be done about a way of placing newcomers based on ability. How about using their online level as a barometer.

Oh, and ardeo, you can only have dibs on the Palace players that aren't managed by George Burley, I'm sure you know that

Is there a break down of the new rules etc? I haven't been following things too closely!
Do I keep my current squad or do we draft from fresh?
Are the player ratings on the site now reflecting F11?
