Its the crystals here...
Hi everyone!
It's the crystals here... We had so much fun performing on saturday & meeting all the fans! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did? Our friends, families & our other halfs were extremely proud of us and watched us both on tv & in the stands. There was so much adrenalin running through our bodies we didnt have time to get cold. Something you may not know about us is that we are all professionally trained dancers.. We are not performing at selhurst as a paid job, simply out of the love for the game - we were watching from our box! And before we recieve any cynical comments. Our girls have been lucky enough to have trained and worked alongside michael jackson choregraphers, the tv show strictly come dancing choreographers & judges, the royal ballet & most recently one of our gorgeous girls spent 6wks training in new york. You may have seen us on numerous tv shows such as the finals of 'so you think you can dance' plus much much more... We are talented girls, and lucky enough to have gorgeous figures to match!! Several of the girls live close to the stadium and have us watching palace games religously! We were also lucky enough to meet some of the players yesterday, including kieron & Nathaniel who already knew a few of our girls boyfriends. We cannot wait to see all the fans & families at the next game... The men, women & children had plenty of pictures with us & we really enjoyed meeting everyone! Now we are busy getting ready for our 2011 calender!!!!! We'd also love to see more of the fans... so please visit our page on facebook. 'Nu-wave sports dancers' Last but not least, lets clear up the concerns about us. We are cheerleaders, we are not cheerleading. Cheer-leaders lead spectators into cheering for their team, cheerleading is an activity performed by some groups of cheerleaders. We are not trying to over sexualise young girls images, we are all aged 18 and over, we have embraced our curves which we believe is important when we live in a world where size 0 celebrities are our childrens idols. We all have young cousins, sisters & nieces that look up to us but that is because we are talented and fulfilling our dreams. All young girls have a dressing up box at home, and a majority of the nations children have a high school musical outfit. If the parents are palace supporters, surely it would be lovely to have their daughters dressing up in palace colours instead. Should we ever produce mini-cheer outfits then they would be child friendly (no midriffs showing, and high neck tops) we really hope we didnt upset anyone over the comments we made on croydon tv. On a brighter note, want wait to perform at the next game! See you boxing day x ![]() |

We'd also like to add thats we are not just good looking gilrs. We are sports fanatics! Our team is made up of dance coaches, personal trainers, sports graduates, fitness instructors, sports coaches, newspaper sports editors who all happen to be professionally trained dancers.
We are from all over London & Essex, and really are hoping to become a big part of the community. Our ambitions is to begin visiting shools and holding dance workshops for children of all ages. As manh as 1 in every 20 women aged between 14-25 develop anorexia & bulimia. In 2006 58 children aged under 10 were treated for eating disorders. Only 1% of children feel they can speak to their parents but this increases to anything between 9-17% when talking to somebody at school or a doctor. Most teenagers lack vitamins & minerals in their diet. We want to give professional nutrional advise to the growing young adults. In comparison, over 14% of boys and 17% of girls aged 2-15 are chronically obese! Thise leads to high blood pressure, coronary heart disease & hightened risks of heart attack or stroke. we want to promote sports in schools along with the cpfc footballers to ensure every child leads a healthy and active childhood. We are currently working extremely hard to create a programme ready for the new year! We hope we have answered any concerns that parents may have x |

I must say that you are all very good looking girls with fantastic energy. Its just a shame that the young girls (The Palace Crystal Cheerleaders) where much better dancers. They all managed to dance together, in time and always seemed to work like a team. You guys looked like it was the first time you have danced together.
Maybe it was the first game, or maybe it was the cold. But I look forward to seeing you dance again.

Hi everyone thankyou for the feedback so far!
We recieved the invitation to perform at Selhurst only a few weeks back. We pulled in some old faces plus some new fans and have been working hard ever since! For a few of the girls it was their first time perorming on pitch. The footage on sky looked amazing! Our families and partners were so proud of us and we extremely enjoyed ourselves x |

Hi Crystals,
Well done for braving the cold on Saturday evening. It was particularly nice to see you coming aroung the various bars before the match - made it feel like a more personal, 'club orientated' group. I'm afraid that most of the negative comments on here stem from the demise of the old Crystals, who were also good (albeit a lot younger), and the natural comparisons between the two; as well as the 'anti-Americanisation' and 'anti-plastic-Premier-League' type football supporters (who are happy as long as there's a patch of mud to kick a ball on, a bit of standing room and a pie at half time). For my tuppenceworth, I enjoyed having you at Selhurst and seeing you perform (you're hot, curvy and dancing - what's not to like), and it's good to see the club re-inventing itself with support shows like yourselves and Kayla. If you enjoy doing what you do, and get a bit of exposure for your troupe on TV then that's good. If it's free of charge to CPFC and attracts a few more people to buy tickets then that's also good! A classic win-win, I guess. Anyway, don't be put off by the minority negative comments on here. You were well received at Selhurst and I for one certainly look forward to seeing more of you (?!) in the future, Best regards, SeaEagle |
