Decent winger, but rather injury prone while at Cardiff IIRC. Dunno about his record since he moved on.

Mind you, wikipedia say his played 194 games (but in the article made his 200th appearance against Arsenal?!) between 2004 and 2009, so can't have been that injury prone.

Reading up on him, seems like a really good player and is versatile enough to play as a striker if needed. Definitely sounds like another Lawrence signing as well

Wikipedia stats only show League Appearances, soccerbase.com is a better resource for appearance stats (Note his Hereford appearances were in the conference) etc.

Not played a full season for two years and injury prone, on top of that he is one of their highest earners. I wonder what their top players were on.

I would be very disappointed if we were to get him, it would show our lack of ambition in the quality of player we are bringing in, also i feel he has seen better days approx 5 years ago when with Cardiff.

Isn't this most likely to be the papers going scattergun through the available players list and linking any with a past association with Dougie or LL.

Preston haven't exactly been overflowing with quality players the last few times I've seen them play us. It would be an underwhelming signing, another fringe squad player where we're bloated already.

Can't see this happenning.

I really hope you're right. I can't help worrying that after losing Danns and missing out on players like Forsyth, Conway, Pearce, etc, we're going to end up players of this sort of calibre. With any luck this week will see me proved wrong, otherwise we could be in the smelly brown stuff.

Most of the players we seem to get linked with are touted as 'squad players'. We don't need any more to make up the numbers, we need some shoe-in first teamers.
