I'm not getting into this as it isn't the time or the place, but they are totally diffent events. If some lune executes 80 children it is going to hit the news wherever it is. This is a little bit different.

You're right it's not the place for a debate. But the thread was started when there was a blast before any of what you say transpired. The events Maz highlights and the bombings in Pakistan get very little coverage (and none on here).

I think we should be concentrating on condemning this Nutter and offering sympathy to the victims rather than getting too bogged down in pettiness ,

Sadly because they have become all too common place. The events in Norway are far more unusual and therfore inherrently more likely to stimulate discussion. After all the events in Pakistan/Afghanistan are not 'new news' and have been discussed many times already.

If an extremist group, claiming to be driven by religious motives performs an attack in a place, where their religion, is not the religion of the country. Then I think it perfectly reasonable to expect the leader of that minority religion to publicly condemn the actions!!

Not the case here so not all that sad to be honest. I think your point is trying to find an issue where there simply isn't one.

In addition to this if you think the Arch Bishop of Canterbury would not condemn an attack by a extremist Christian in this country. I think you are incorrect.

I think it's entirely the time and place to examine our reaction to world events; as they happen.

It would be a darn sight more relevant than condemning a nutter we don't know, and offering sympathy to people we don't know.
