Got none of my sponsors goals either. Hopefully I'll have more joy in division 2 next season. I'm still hoping to avoid 2.2 as it looks stronger every time I look at it. I have a nasty feeling that's where I'm headed though.

Meanwhile I am itching to spend some of the 800+ mill I have burning a hole in my pocket on some of the players in the NT sales. I have my eye on a FC and possibly a MC as well. I don't really want to spend more than 300m on either so we'll see if I do actually sign anyone. It isn't crucial I do but I'd still like to.

I have a few young players up for sale if anyone is on the look out including a good young English DC that would do well in Div 4 and below. He's got 1 more week of bloom as have the others on x years 10 weeks. Link to my squad below:

Just made a bid for him. Probably won't get him as I only set my transfer agent to bid up to 10m as I don't have much in the bank, however it's worth a try. Maybe I'll make a bigger bid when I get my sponsor money.

How do you know who are the players that are going to come up for sale as part of the new season?

Are they youth products in your side, or players bought from outside?

That's a tremendous squad. Makes my attempt at a youth team before look somewhat a failure.

Mixture of both. I had a spell ages ago where I had a number of really good youths come through but I do a lot of wheeling and dealing as well.

I have had a severe lack of quality youths coming through for some seasons now but having got in the position of having quite a lot of assets we should be alright to buy replacements when needed as long as I sell players before they get too old.

Everyone has to start somewhere though and when I started I had no youths at all and a very poor division 9 squad.

The end of season cull begins not the only two going just decidong on what players to sell next. Either 1 of Butcher or Russell as Matthewson is coming through not sure which yet. I hope ive done it so it finishes Monday evening badly need the cash.

Well I made 1 signing in the NT sales, this FC for 363m. 50/60m more than I would have liked to pay and a bit of a risk in as much as that he's never played higher than division 3 but given his stats he should score goals for 3 or 4 seasons for us.

I have got a few old players. I might have two retirees this season or one with two next season. I have bought a few younger players over the past few seasons though so I should start saving some cash in time.

Just need a LW, LB and a CB and then I'm sorted. In a couple of seasons, I'll need a RB.

I also want to try and buy a few english players because I have a few older ones.

Another season flirting with relegation - I'm just too inconsistent to do anything else. Fingers crossed it doesn't come down to the last game again, but no doubt it will!
