next season

I haven't come on here to take the piss or start a flame war, but how do you think you'll do next year? IMHO I think we'll come in the play offs maybe automatic but not to sure, depends how many players decide the're to good for Div 1. Anyway from Palace friens I've spoken to they reckon mid-table easy, maybe if you do really well play offs.
So kinda good luck next year, and it's ggod to see loyal fans.

I just hope you lot don't have the chance to sing the "One team at Selhurst" song.

I wish we wouldn't. 'One team at PLough Lane'
would sound much better! Are talks still going on with Gillingham? I blame dodgy former owners. They all leave you without grounds and without your PL satus.

Thats right Womble, you best start making some friends on this mesage board so you'll try to get some sympathy after we beat you both home and er home.
After sheep shagger, Euell, Cort and Hermenn have gone you will settle for mid-table mediocrity before going bust next year after finding 2500 each home game wont keep you in business.

Come on people, the guy hasn't come on here being all smarmy and stroppy so there's no need for any grief.

I suspect that Wimbledon will lose 3 or 4 of their best players and will do well to make the play-offs next season. You have to think that Fulham will be right up there now that they've got Tigana in charge with Al Fayed's chequebook. Blackburn will improve under Souness too. Then there's the also-rans from this year to consider - Barnsley, Birmingham, Wolves and Bolton.

Assuming we're playing at all then I think we'll finish mid-table if we're still at Selhurst (because of our phenomenal home support) or relegated if we're playing at Gillingham.

I have to say it is refreshing to hear from a Dons follower who isn't juest having a go at us like most of them, so the guy is welcome on this site in my view. When people ask how Palace will do next season it is impossible to answer. We could end up at Gillingham, losing all our better players and being relegated, however if someone like Jordan takes over then things look brighter and we could start to copete with the usual suspects (Wolves, Birmingham,Bolton Barnsley etc) at the top of the division for the play offs.
As far as Wimbledon are concerned it really depends who they keep and whether any money they get from sales is spent wisely. I feel they've got a good chance, however i feel it may be their only chance to get back up. How about a South London play off final next season? Incidently we want to stay at Selhurst desperately yet may be forced to leave. Wimbledon followers are desperate to leave, and yet will definately be there next season. Things make little sense sometimes...

South London Play off final, no Wembley they it would be at Selhurst. Two games there next year then.

I think Wimbledon should make the play offs. Not sure about Sounness I think he will be another pants Blackburn boss - come back at me in six months.

Palace could be alright as long as these muppets don't send us to Gillingham, if they do I can see us dropping like a stone.

Well we need to get rid of some players, definatealy Cort and Euell especially Cort. Who the hell do they think they are we sign them up as kids bring them nito the team make stars of them. What do they do? **** off when they get a bit bored. What d'you think your gates will be next year if you play at Gillingham. I know how hard it is being kicked out of you home and one tiny consolation is it brings out all the true supporters, as does relegatoin I suppose. Oh god just thinking about Fulham going up, that would be hard to swallow, no please no!

In my opinion if the Dons sell the ones who want to go fast and replace them quickly they can make the play offs. If they let the process drag on the team won't settle and they'll struggle. As for Palace, i don't even want to think about it.

Firstly Womble cheers for your posting, and depending on whom you sell I think you may make the play-offs, but for Palace however I have to admit, I am very pessemistic about our chances next season and I do fear relegation and that is whether or not we go to the gills.
The reason is, is that we have lost Cole & Forsell who at the time when we signed them gave us a much needed boost when we were in a bit of a slump & they will be very hard to replace especially with the money we'll have to spend (if any). Also all of the players who were going on free transfers such as Scott Taylor of Wolves etc who we would have been looking at will by now be snapped up!! Also
that goes for other players who were in our price range such as Adebola & Furlong from Brum who were going for 1.5 & 1m respectively, and our both players who would do a good job for use & give Clinton such much needed help & presence up front so straight away we are behind all of the other clubs who will be adding to or pruning their squads.
Also this is based on us being safe by June 15th which I can't see happening, & if this is the case & Jordan or whoever comes in, we will be looking for around another two or three weeks at least before things get sorted so we'll probably be starting the new season with a weaker team than last year!! and we can't resign players who are out of contract such as Austin etc until we are out of administration so we could be even weaker, so thats why I fear the worst!!!
Things get worse & worse, b******S!!!!!

**** I didn't realise it was so bad, I thought you were coming out of the worst if it now. You got anything planned like barnet did a few years back, a march or something. You can have Cort and Euell for free if you want:-)
Good Luck
