2012/13 Season Tickets Hit 7,500

To view the link you have to Register or Login

Cannot see a thread on this elsewhere. However isn't this number pretty low?

I thought we had 8k season tickets holders this season. Surely the majority that will renew, do so at the cheapest price? Isn't that expiring soon?

We have around 9K S/T holders this season AFAIK.

Number of reasons; price increases, people more concerned about CC and probably unaware, and the main one is the 'deadline' for the first price range is a massive oxymoron because every year this 'deadline' gets extended and people have wised up-to it now. As a result people purchase their S/T in later months when they can be bothered to do so. (Myself included)

No panic yet.

It is concerning, but a few have asked for an extension in the date that offer expires, with all the Cup tickets/travel etc I'm not surprised, the last 2 months has been expensive with xmas and the Cup run, if we get to the final it may be a choice of renew ST or get a Final ticket (guessing 65 cheapest) no brainer

Even if the club don't officially extended the deadline you just wait for the call in March/April time offering you a S/T at Jan prices, or hand-in a postdated S/T form in person with January prices filled-it, again during March/April time, and it gets processed at January prices.

No biggie.

I would have thought it might be an idea to hold the cheap price until the new financial year. That way anyone that is fortunate enough to receive an annual bonus is more likely to think sod it and get one.

Do the cheapest prices expire (in theory at least) at the end of January?

3rd Feb is the last day. Yes 2k renewals is poor. I would expect another 2k to renew before that date, but that still is less than half the season ticket holders.
Agree with Waddon the deadline has to be put back at least a month, maybe even to the second deadline at the end of March.
There has been far too much expense recently for fans and we have only just got past Christmas and New Year. If we win Tuesday I am sure the deadline will be changed, but it should be anyway.

Yeah I'm the same to be fair. I know the box office get a bit of stick on here but I always find Karen and Mandy great- they were well patient with us last year, holding the price and sending us different tickets for alternative seats to try out at each game while we decided where to move to! They obviously cancelled our existing ST seats each game for re-sale.

There's been a fair bit of talk in our area about people not renewing. Most citing boredom.

I'd be more bored sitting at home every other Saturday, but I know where they are coming from.

We are a fairly average championship team at the moment, and for all our positive, exciting, young players, we have a fairly negative style of play.
