CPFC Ticketing information

If you have any questions about tickets please post them on this thread and either Mandy Anderson-Myers (CPFC head of ticketing) or Stephen Browett will try to answer them.

Like the "Questions to CPFC" thread, please post only serious questions and we'll try to answer them promptly. Can Mods make this a "sticky"

This seems like a good time to remind everyone that the "early bird" offer on 2012/2013 Season Tickets closes this Friday and these opening prices are valid until then only and will not be extended. There are some great deals for young people (Under 18 now instead of Under 16 previously), Students (now of any age) and kids (Under 10's free in family areas with an adult). Adult prices are the approximate equivalent of the entry price to 16 games - so that gives you 7 free games.

I have been in contact with Steve B, and have 'stuck' this thread in the Tickets etc Forum - and at the same time have deleted the 'Marketing' thread in GPD. The Marketing thread has not been used very much and I understand that Sharon prefers to use Twitter for general marketing enquiries.

Suggestion: if the club decides to use Twitter to deal with ticketing issues in future, can they post a message on this thread to advise people of the fact and avoid a repeat of the marketing debacle?

I understand circa 3,000 season tickets have been bought already. Would you know of those how many are renewals and how many are new purchases?

My brother who was a season ticket holder for a few years (roughly between 2005-2009) isn’t anymore because he now lives in Canterbury.

He wants a ticket for tomorrow night but has been told that he needs to be a member to buy a ticket.

Is this correct?

I have tried to purchase a ticket for him online (I’m a season ticket holder) but it won’t let me buy tickets for anyone.

I’ve also had an email saying ‘Available to s/t holders until midnight tonight!’

Well not for me

I've asked Mandy to check this.

As I understand it Members cant buy on line in case Brighton fans take out memberships. He will have to book on the phone. However, I thought that you as a season ticket holder should be ok to buy a ticket on line.... Steve

Are season tickets allowed in Block V of the Arthur Wait next season?

When I tried to buy a season ticket earlier over the phone I was told there was a fee of 3% for paying by credit card. When I checked later, that fee doesn't exist when buying online. Is that right?

I bought one online in the end, but it seems a bit weird and inconsistent to me.

Nothing urgent about this one - just a bit of curiosity. I like the online booking facility, and often use it to buy tickets for away matches for myself and another season ticket holder. But I am puzzled that despite me ordering and paying for the tickets, they are almost always sent to my friend, and there is never a credit card receipt. Is there an obvious explanation?

That's what I thought but the option just isn't there.

And it's definitely not me being stupid as I've booked online before no problem.

Last I heard from him he rang at about 4:30 and was waiting in the queue. I haven't hear back from him as of yet...

Thanks for your response!

I've had this too - for the Cardiff game the home tickets went to me and the away tickets went to my friend. They were separate transactions, but both done by me on my card.

Hi
please make sure you check the delivery address at checkout. The ticket office doesnt send credit card receipts as it is on the online service that is debiting your money, but you should receive an email confirmation with a payment reference

we are currently on 3500+ season tickets. There are a small percentage of new's these are mainly half seasons or selhurst members. Whilst we are still extremely busy processing it wouldn't fair if i gave a figure. But after the first deadline has passed i can start the work on this

I have just gone online as a season ticket holder and haven't come across any issues. At what point are you having problems?

Do the club get charged for postage by Ticketmaster? I've booked several tickets in the same online transaction (i.e. my Millwall & Southampton tickets) and they have arrived in separate envelopes. Seems like an easy cost saving?

Box office / Eagles Gold Programme vouchers

I was unable to buy ,as there seems to be no way of doing so, my Eagles gold renewal on line. I have done so on the phone after 25 minutes wait .

The real point is i had the time to wait ,many people will not and will just give up. Surely this little add on would would be attractive to many if it can be
purchased easily. I mentioned this last year to the box office when I renewed but same issue this year.
