Went for another walk this morning...managed to do 15 miles in 3hrs 42mins.
Seeing as though it initially took me 1hr 33mins to do 5 miles and 2hrs 42mins to do 10 miles, I seem to somehow be getting quicker which can't be a bad thing! Neil, great to see you up in the Exec Boxes yesterday...roll on Friday! |

Sponsorship done and good luck all.
Are you going through Wokingham or if not where are you going through as you approach Reading? I can't make the game as have tickets for a show in Brum that night and plan on leaving about 1 but would love to give you a quick wave as you pass by. |

Will a route on the walk be published anywhere ?

It's a bit awkward to publish an exact route, this time, as a fair bit is on footpaths not recognised/covered by Google Maps or Walkit. Happy to answer pm questions on specific parts but we will be going through the following places:
Selhurst, Thornton Heath, Pollards Hill, Mitcham, Merton Mills, Wimbeldon Chase, New Malden (A298), Kingstonian's ground, Kingston U-T, Bushy Park, Hampton (A308), Kempton, Sunbury, Ashford Common, Staines, Egham (A30), Englefield Green, Windsor Great Park, (A329) Ascot, Bracknell, Wokingham, Sindlesham, Eardley, Reading FC.

The route from Staines to Windsor great park is a nice one , lots of the river Thames to see and you go past the the long walk at windsor as well .
Shame this is the last leg as loads of places to stop off at. The Toby at Runnymede/old windsor do a lovely cavery breakfast and if your running late ( pun intended ) the 191 bus goes from wndaor to Bracknell . The Coldstream guards are normally also seen running around that area in the morning |
